Carrie Cantor – Editorial Services and Associate Agent
Carrie Cantor is a veteran editor who has been in publishing for over 25 years For the past decade, Carrie has helped authors to prepare polished proposals and has edited manuscripts for private clients, including publishers. She now also works with agency clients who need in-depth editorial attention.
Carrie is seeking to edit and represent projects about current events, politics, history, popular science and psychology, memoir, and narrative nonfiction. She is also drawn to sophisticated and edgy literary fiction and some genre fiction that manages to weave together an interesting plot, well-drawn characters, and high-level prose.
A graduate of State University of New York at Binghamton (where she majored in comparative literature), Carrie holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She is the author of two history books for children.
