Nora Bradbury-Haehl is co-author with Bill McGarvey of The Freshman Survival Guide (Center Street/Hachette), which went into a second edition in Spring 2017, and upcoming, The Twentysomething Handbook, which Thomas Nelson will publish in Spring 2021.
She has worked with teenagers for more than 25 years. She has presented at the National Catholic Youth Conference and is a sought-after leader of workshops and retreats for parents, teens, and college students.
- She authored ScriptureWalk: Discipleship, God’s Word, Your World, and Sunday Prayers for Teens. She was a writer for Breakthrough! The Bible for Young Catholics and the Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth.
- She’s been a contributing editor at BustedHalo.com and was editor for their Young Adult Ministry in a Box project. She also writes for God’s Word Many Voices.
- The first edition of her book The Freshman Survival Guide for new college students was featured on The Late Show with David Letterman and the second edition has enjoyed Amazon Bestseller status.
Nora is an editor at Saint Mary’s Press. She is active in interfaith youth work, bringing young people of different faiths together to do service and learn about each other. She loves creating opportunities for young people to have conversations that matter.
She and her husband Greg have four teen and adult children and live in Rochester, NY.
